YAMA Consulting Services, Inc. Financial Firm Based in Puerto Rico

YAMA Consulting Services, Inc. emerges as a financial advisory firm, which was legally registered in 2007 in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico by Mr. Yamil A. Moreno Rodríguez. From then on, the company began to offer resources of highly trained personnel in government accounting, financial advice, compilation of financial statements, training on pronouncements of the Governmental Accounting Standard Board (GASB), compliance with regulations regarding local and federal grants, filing of quarterly reports, drafting of legislative projects, and presentation of operational budget breakdown, among others.

The continued growth of the company led to an increase in our range of services, which were managed through the creation of specialized divisions such as Bubalis Administrative Solutions and YAMA DSP. In this way we have successfully ventured into the field of sustainable planning, development of proposals, communication strategies, project management, development of disclosure systems, research, appraisal, and execution of collections on real estate, consolidation of resources, and development of collaborative projects. In the existential period of the company and its specialized divisions, the amount of $10,259,300 has been exceeded in the provision of services. During the same period the total amount of fund management through administrative assistance reaches $674,000,000. In this way, YAMA Consulting Services, Inc. is positioned as one of the most solid consulting and professional services firms in the western region of Puerto Rico.

Founded more than seventeen years ago, YAMA CSI is the oldest of the services divisions that make up what YAMA Consulting Services, Inc. is today.

From 2007 to the present, YAMA CSI has completed the compilation of 57 municipal financial statements, 53 municipal budget projects, 785 reconciliations of sources of information, 396 quarterly reports, 43 training sessions for labor personnel, the drafting of 58 legislative projects that have been approved, 27 monitoring projects of budget and asset allocations, the design and approval of 64 corrective action plans,

16 informative depositions on municipalism, and the historical compilation on municipal fiscal health commissioned by the League of Cities of Puerto Rico, presented as a reference before the Fiscal Oversight Management Board and members of the United States Congress, and published in 2020 under the title Radiografía Municipal.

Our professional trajectory and the success of our projects has allowed us to gain the recognition of the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) with seven Certificates of Excellence and the 2016 Award of Entrepreneur of the Year from the Small and Medium Sized Enterprises of Puerto Rico. From the operation of YAMA CSI, our clients are provided with services related to the areas of compliance, budget, and finance. The professional resources that are part of this division oversee financial advisory services, technical assistance in accounting processes, compilation of financial statements, evaluation of compliance, drafting of accounting reports, records of deposits and disbursements, monitoring of uniform systems for accounting, reconciliation between sources of information, and the development and implementation of plans for fiscal strengthening, among other important services.

The financial division of Comprehensive Services and Information (CSI) has an average of seven internal professional resources with a concentration in the areas of systems, accounting, administration, and finance, along with the external collaborative assistance of two additional resources dedicated to compliance analysis and regulation applicability.

Strengthening Puerto Rico Through

Currently our division for Development, Strategy and Planning (DSP) has five direct professional resources focused on the identification, documentation and segregation of funds, guidance material and dissemination methods, measurement of pressing needs by communities, documentation and validation of compliance, and coordination of action plans in existing projects, among other project management services.

In addition to our resources, three collaborative agreements were created through which we provide planning, engineering, project inspection, environmental studies, cadastral identification, proposal requirements, and citizen orientation services. The professional excellence of this work team is currently in charge of the administration and management of several projects amounting to $107,000,000 in federal funds that should be invested in the recovery and sustainability of various sectors and communities in Puerto Rico.

The increase in the diversity of services that we were offering, and the new needs of our clients after the emergencies that were faced in Puerto Rico, required that for the year 2020 an internal restructuring be carried out to direct part of our services to a new division. In this way the Development, Strategy and Planning division began to take shape under the name YAMA DSP. Through this recent department we would continue to provide our services related to sustainable planning, administration of recovery funds, project management, training and guidance on federal funds, validation of transactions, compliance reports, evaluation of disproportionately affected areas, mitigation strategies, and coordination of collaborative agreements for the development of effective work plans.

The approach that we take to our projects, from YAMA DSP, is aimed at guaranteeing the adequate, respectable, and transparent administration that requires the management of the funds that have been entrusted.
